Police have discovered the body of the 25 year old Chinese national who’s Pajero went off the road and landed into Wainibuka river yesterday afternoon.
According to Police the body was discovered at slope of river few hours ago.
Police believe that the Chinese national was trying to get out of the vehicle however he landed on the slope.
Post Morterm is expected to be conducted tomorrow.
The deceased was working as a Consultant for Telecom Fiji and was driving near Vatuqio when he is believed to have lost control of the vehicle which landed in the river.
A 24 year old female Consultant who was sitting in the front passenger seat of the Pajero was saved by the nearby village members. The woman is recovering at the Nausori hospital.
