The Fiji Police Force Crime Free Secretariat has met with the Suva City Council officials to discuss and design prevention solutions to help keep illegal activities off Suva City.

The meeting took place between the Crime Prevention Secretariat officer Inspector Anare Masitabua, Suva City Council Special Administrator Marica Hallacy, Senior Enforcement officer Samisoni Takape and Administration officer Ieli Fatiaki.

With the solution at hand, monthly permits will be issued to wheel barrow boys, shoeshine boys, hawkers, sword sellers, beggars and street kids who are target groups that commit crime in Suva city.

According to Inspector Masitabua, most of the applicants are well known criminals and they will be under surveillance.
