Police continue to warn members of the public not to drink and drive during this festive season after police recorded a number of road accidents during the weekend.

Acting Director Traffic Superintendent Mahesh Mishra said 86th cases of drunken driving police have recorded since the operations started on the 12th of this month.

He said numerous public awareness campaign done, but they believe it falls on deaf ears.

Meanwhile, Fijivillage has witnessed that two traffic lights at Nabua, opposite Rewa Dairy and in Valelevu, have been damaged with repair works yet to take place.
