Police are questioning a businessman of Nadi for allegedly manufacturing homebrew, selling liquor without a license and allegedly selling pornographic CD's to the members of the public.

Station Officer Nadi, Inspector Hemant Dass has confirmed that a team of six officers raided his house and confiscated more than 300 litres of homebrew, bottles of Rum and Gin and also some pornographic CD's which he was selling to the public.

According to Inspector Dass, the man was under surveillance for some time after complains that he was selling liquor without a license and selling pornographic CD's to children.

Police has also confirmed that some apparatus used to manufacture homebrew has also been confiscated.

The businessman who has been charged before in relation to similar cases has some of his cases pending in court.

His wife has also been questioned and released. The homebrew has been sent to the Koronivia research station for analysis.
