Police raided a home in Coqeloa Labasa at the weekend and confiscated huge amounts of homemade alcohol.

Police have confirmed they confiscated three 44 litre gallon drums filled with home brew that were being prepared by three men from the settlement.

A team of Police Officers also confiscated home brew which was already prepared and stocked in the bulk for sale.

Police say the making of home brew has grown into a big business where a bottle costs $10.

The three men are still being questioned and charges are expected soon.

Meanwhile, Police have also confirmed that sale of home brew has extended to Suva where people place their orders and delivery is made to their homes.
