Police in the western division are concerned that a number of school students are allegedly involved in sniffing glue after school.

Media Officer Western Inspector Sami Gounder said they have received a number of complaints, however, no charges can be laid against offenders as there are no such provisions under the Penal Code.

Gounder said there are currently no figures, however, he can confirm that the number is increasing. He said this act is prevalent in mostly students in class 8 and form 3.

He has called on parents and teachers to keep a close watch on children.
