Police have confirmed the capture of one of the men involved in a daring robbery on Fulaga St over the weekend.

Police Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said the man, who had a knife wound, was arrested by the Police Strike Back Team yesterday after a tip off.

Sokomuri confirms police do know the identity of the remaining two men, of the eight involved in the robbery and adds it is only a matter of finding and arresting them.

The two were also injured in the robbery which occurred early Saturday morning.

The eight men broke into the house of a 63 year old market vendor in Fulanga Street armed with cane knives, iron rod and pinch bar.

They stole $2000 dollars cash but were confronted by the market vendor and a 52 year neighbor.
