Eden Park will come alive this weekend with real Fijian entertainment as the Fiji Police Entertainment band jetted out of the country this morning bound for Auckland.
This is history in the making as this would be the first time for a Fijian group to be part of the entertainment at a Rugby World Cup tournament.
The 40 member team is expected to cheer our Flying Fijians team in Auckland before the Fiji-Samoa match this Sunday.
Police spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the team will display Fijian dances namely the "meke wesi" and the “meke iri”.
