Police are awaiting the post mortem report of the girl believed to be in her 20's who died in a fatal road accident in Savusavu on Saturday before any charges are laid on the driver.
This was confirmed by Assistant Police spokesperson, Corporal Josaia Weicavu who said that the post mortem was expected to be conducted today.
The deceased was travelling towards Labasa when the driver of the vehicle she was travelling in, lost control of the vehicle on a bend which had caused it to veer off the road and tumble.
It is believed that the girl was sitting in the tray of the van.
