Police are awaiting the post mortem report of a 33-year-old labourer who died after an alleged assault on Tuesday night in Nausori.
Divisional Crime Officer Eastern Ramesh Chand said the post mortem has been conducted and the decision to lay charges on the three men arrested in regards to the alleged assault will only be made after they get the report.
It is alleged the labourer of Naduru, Nausori was drinking with the three men on Tuesday night when he was allegedly assaulted.
The man was taken to the Suva Private Hospital by his brother, but was later transferred to the CWM hospital for a scan where he passed away last night.
