Seaqaqa police are still awaiting the analysis report of the dried leaves that were confiscated from a truck last week.

Police have confirmed that they have already interviewed the truck driver and the truck owner and charges will be laid once they get the analysis report from Koronivia Research Station.

According to police, they also raided the house of the truck owner and also recovered some items which will be produced in the court as exhibits.

The dried leaves believed to be marijuana and with a street value of more than $100,000, were recovered from special compartments that were welded under the truck.

Police have also managed to establish that the marijuana they seized was bound for sale in Labasa.
