Police have applauded the lengthy jail sentences given to 4 men who were found guilty of robbing the MH Superfresh, Tamavua in July last year.
Director Operations SSP Waisea Tabakau said the 13 and 14 year jail term clearly reflects that all those who are involved in criminal activities will not be spared and it should be a lesson to all those robbers who are operating in groups.
SSP Tabakau said these will help decrease the crime rate in the country.
Sakiusa Rokonabete, Akuila Dromodole, Alifereti Tokona and Guston Kean were sentenced to 13 and 14 years imprisonment respectively by Judge Justice Daniel Gounder yesterday.
