Western Force captain David Pocock is expected to lead the Wallabies in their opening test against Scotland on June 5th.

This comes after Wallabies officials believe James Horwill should be rested due to his super rugby work load.

It is understood that the Australian Rugby Union is strongly supportive of Pocock being the back up captain last season after he led them against the Barbarians at Twickenham in November

Meanwhile Pocock scored a try to help his Force side beat the Lions yesterday by 17-11.

Meanwhile in other super rugby results, the Cheetahs beat the Waratahs 35-34 this morning, the Hurricanes thumped the Rebels 66-24, the Blues lost to the Highlanders 27-20, Sharks beat the Stormers 25-20 and the Reds won over the Brumbies 13-12.
