National rugby coaching Director Frank Boivert said the decision to have one coach for the Digicel Fiji sevens team is for the players to focus more on the game.

Boivert added after the New Zealand and USA 7s they have made a decision based on the report they received.

Boivert also said Timoci Wainiqolo is no longer the assistant coach but he will still be part of FRU=s sevens program as a National selector.

Boivert added head coach Alifereti Dere will take the team to the remaining four tournaments in the world sevens series with a new team trainer.

Meanwhile, the 21 member national 7s training squad broke camp yesterday and they will assemble again on Monday to prepare for the Hong Kong sevens this month.
