Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan has highlighted that many players in Fiji are not tackling the right way.
Ryan said this was an area of concern in the last two legs of the series which saw them on the receiving end of three yellow cards during the New Zealand 7s tournament.
Ryan added upper body strength is not a concern for him however he will work with the players on improving their defensive skills.
Despite the disappointing performance in USA and the semifinal loss in New Zealand, Ryan said everything will take time and they will continue to move forward.
Meanwhile, Ryan has included four new players in his squad that will march into camp in Rakiraki today.
Westfield Babas veteran playmaker Asaeli Vula, Taione Ravumaidamu, Eminoni Nasilasila and 18-year-old St Johns College student Waisea Daroko are the new faces in the squad.
The Tokyo 7s kicks off on the 22nd and the 23rd of next month.
