Players fit and ready to go - Baber

Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team coach Gareth Baber says with a solid week of training done, the team is ready for the Las Vegas 7s.

@usasevensrugby opened the tournament in style in Las Vegas tonight, with our Fiji Airways Fijian 7s warmly welcomed by fans and competitors before the tournament kicks off tomorrow. Pretty awesome to see how the USA welcome the athletes and their fans.. looks pretty good to us! (I wonder if @fly_fijiairways have any last minute flights to Vegas 🤔) Now it's time for the boys to lock into game mode... BRING ON THE RUGBY! 🏉🇫🇯

Baber says all players have prepared well and shown focus over their time in Vegas and all are fit and ready to go.

Baber says today is about delivery.

He has selected Kalione Nasoko, Jerry Tuwai, Waisea Nacuqu, Terio Tamani, Meli Derenalagi, Josua Vakurinabili, Paula Dranisinukula, Mesulame Kunavula, Vilimoni Botitu, Alasio Naduva, Isoa Tabu and Aminiasi Tuimaba.

Fiji will face Scotland in their first match of the Las Vegas 7s today at 11.22am, they will face Wales at 2.23pm today and Fiji will then face Australia at 7.52am tomorrow.

The Cup quarterfinals will start at 1.46pm tomorrow, semifinals will start at 9.12am Monday and the Cup final will kick off at 12.30pm Monday.
