The Air Pacific Fiji Warriors and Air Pacific Fiji Barbarians players will be out to impress the national selectors when the two teams meet in their final round-robin match in the IRB Pacific Rugby Cup competition.

Both teams are out of the competition, but the players from both teams will have something to play for, as they can win a place in the Fiji 15s squad to play in the IRB Pacific Nations Cup competition.

FRU's High Performance Unit Manager Peter Murphy said they will announce a large number of squad members for next week's fitness test.

The Air Pacific Fiji Warriors and the Air Pacific Fiji Barbarians match will kickoff at 3pm today at Subrail Park in Labasa.

Meanwhile, the Tau'uta Reds wrecked Savai'i Samoa's chances of reaching the IRB Pacific Rugby Cup final by recording a shocking 14-13 victory in Nuku'alofa yesterday.

The Tongan side's victory means that both reigning champions Upolu Samoa and Tautahi Gold are now guaranteed a place in next weekend's final. The two teams will play today in Apia in a match that will now determine who claims home advantage for the final.
