New Zealand 7's coach, Sir Gordon Tietjens said player attitude made them win the Rugby World Cup today.

Tietjens said it was a tough tournament especially with matches against Wales, Fiji and England but his players were focused and played according to the game plan.


New Zealand won the Rugby World Cup final after thrashing England 33-0 under heavy conditions.

Canada won the Plate after beating Samoa 19-12, while there was celebration for the hosts Russia who won the Bowl after beating Japan 29-5.
