Former Digicel Fiji Sevens player Metuisela Talebula is urging new players in the Sevens team to play their hearts out for their country.

Talebula said looking at the previous performance in Dubai and South Africa, the new players lacked the urgency needed in the game.

Talebula has ruled out the possibility of a selection in the Fiji Sevens team to the next leg of the IRB World Sevens Series.

According to Talebula, playing in the Uprising Sevens tournament will be the only time he will prove his worth to the selectors for the Sevens World Cup later this year.

He will join Avenisi Vasuinubu in the Uprising Sevens team for the Uprising International Sevens next Friday.
