Plans are underway to replace 30 to 40 year old water pipes along the Suva Nausori corridor.
Water Department Spokesperson Maika Nagalu said they know that people along these areas are currently receiving low water supply and they are working towards fixing the problem.
There is no confirmation from the Water Department on when these pipes will be installed, how long this will take or even how much this will cost.
On the Lami and Delainavesi areas, Nagalu had earlier said it would take a couple of days for water supply in these areas to normalise after disruptions caused last week by low water levels at reservoirs as well as a 20yr old pipe bursting.
Nagalu adds people should raise their concerns with their complaints department and not the media.
