Plans and documentations are still been carried out between officials from the police department and financer, Fijian Holdings Limited regarding the Police Headquarters building to be built at the corner of Malcolm and Selbourne Street in Suva which will cost $20 million.

FHL Chairman Isoa Kaloumaira said the plan still stands and they are waiting for finer details and documentations after the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed with PSC on the 29th of June.

The feasibility study will take at least 4-6 months following which comprehensive build, operate, transfer agreement will be signed by both parties prior construction.

Kaloumaira said the MOU represents the commitment of both institutions towards the success of the project.
