Adi Cakobau School Head Coach Komera Tuicakau has urged the Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association to put a structured plan in place to cater for athletes in the future.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Tuicakau said that there is continuity from the primary to secondary school level however when top athletes leave secondary school, the interest dies out.
Tuicakau has become a well known figure in secondary school athletics as her school ACS has successfully defended their Coca Cola Games Girls Division title for 9 years with her as Head Coach.
The side bagged 13 Gold, 7 Silver and 4 Bronze to win this year's Games Title.
