The Water Supply Department has plans in place to purchase its own water trucks.

This has been revealed by Senior Information Officer Iliesa Sokia who said at the moment they do not have proper water carting trucks in their fleet of trucks and often have to hire from private companies or modify the ones they do have at the moment.

Sokia said they have plans to purchase their own as well as other alternatives to turn to in case of unplanned water disruptions.
