The Housing Authority has today revealed that their plans for the Tacirua Settlement will go ahead after receiving word from the EXIM Bank of China.
CEO Alipate Naiorosui said they have had communication with their Chinese counterparts.
Naiorosui adds that they will not be asking the 50 Namara residents to move as this will be counterproductive for the Authority.
The Authority along with the Public Rental Board has undertaken a $70 million dollar loan from the EXIM Bank of China which had been delayed after some issues needed clarifying.
