There are plans for celebrations in the capital city after the Fiji Bitter Suva rugby side defended the prestigious Farebrother Sullivan trophy yesterday after beating Lautoka 19-16.

Suva rugby union chairman Commander Francis Kean confirmed that they were approached by Suva city's special administrator Chandu Umaria after the win at Ratu Cakobau park yesterday.

Commander Kean added that a decision on the celebrations will be finalised next week and if all goes well for the Suva soccer side at the IDC then there may be a double celebration in the capital.

Meanwhile the Fiji Bitter Suva rugby side will hold a thanksgiving service at Nauluvatu Methodist church at 4pm today.
