Plans are underway to set up an office in Suva for our British Army boys to look after their welfare in Fiji.

This was confirmed by the British Serviceman and Families in Fiji where this issue was submitted to the Supporting Officer, Colonel Roy Zaman who looks after the Fijians in the British Army.

According to a committee member, Marica Karikaritu, this was brought up in their last meeting where Fiji does not have a proper office when compared to the other parts of the world adding there is a need for an office so the British Army Boys and their families can have a place to go for queries and help.

Meanwhile, their next meeting is expected to be held on the 22nd of this month when Colonel Zaman will be in the country.
