The Great Council of Chiefs Review Team has confirmed that there is a Plan B in place to ensure that the GCC is convened despite several provincial councils rejecting the new look GCC.
The Provinces of Lomaiviti, Nadroga, Navosa, Naitasiri, Rewa, Ba, Serua, Namosi and Ra have rejected the changes with only five provinces left to consult.
However, Review Team Chairman Ratu Josetaki Nawalowalo said they have a plan in place to ensure the chiefly body sits as soon as possible.
The provinces which are yet to be consulted are Lau, Macuata, Cakaudrove, Kadavu and Tailevu.
The Review team will be at the Tailevu provincial council meeting this Wednesday.
