Pivac diplomatic on All Blacks’ refusal to release players

Auckland coach and former flying fijians coach Wayne Pivac has been diplomatic when asked about the All Blacks' refusal to release three of his players for Saturday's ITM Cup semi final against Canterbury.

Steven Luatua, Charles Piutau and Piri Weepu will remain with the national squad in Dunedin, despite not being named in the 23 member squad to face the Wallabies.

Pivac said they are pleased they are part of the All Blacks set up.

The All Blacks will play the Wallabies this Saturday at 6.35pm.
