Former Fiji 15's Rugby Coach, Wayne Pivac is stepping down as North Harbour Coach.
He guided the Air New Zealand Cup team to ninth place in 2007. This season they are in 12th place with two rounds remaining in the regular season.
Pivac says it is time to move on. He says he has already notified the North Harbour Union that he will not be standing again next year.
Pivac said his two year contract expires at the end of this season and the results have not been what he wanted, so it is time for someone else to come in.
