The home of Solomon Islands football is being given a touch up to be ready for the O League match between Koloale FC and Shop and Save Lautoka on Saturday.

Solomon Islands Football Federation turf and facilities head Reuben Oimae said the objective is to ensure the ground is at its best for the opening of the O League campaign.

Reuben said that they have patched up some areas and added fertiliser to boost grass cover during the rehabilitation period and they are getting the results they want.

Lautoka President, Shalen Prasad said that they hope of a good outing in their first game and despite the setback they have faced they will be in their best shape on Saturday.

The Lautoka and Koloale FC O-league game on Saturday will start at 3pm in Honiara.
