The Pillay Garments Champion versus Champion Series between Suva and Ba received a major boost today as Pillay Garments owner Narendra Pillay gave $27,000 for the Series.
Fiji Football Association President Rajesh Patel says Pillay Garments has played an important role in assisting them to develop the sport in the country and they have been part of the CVC for the past 12 years.
Ba has appeared 21 times in the CVC Series and has won the title 18 times while Suva has appeared four times and has never won the title.
The winner of the Pillay Garments Champion versus Champion Series will walk away with $5000 while the runner up will receive $2,500.
Ba will play Suva at 3pm this Sunday at the ANZ stadium in the first leg of the CVC series and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
