Waratahs scrum half, Nick Phipps believes their biggest drawcard this week is their coach Daryl Gibson who is a former All Black and was the assistant coach of the Crusaders.

Phipps says through the help of their coach, the Waratahs will front-up against the Crusaders this week and aim for another victory.

He says playing New Zealand teams is always different.

The Waratahs are aiming to smash a 12 year, six match losing streak against the seven time champions in Christchurch.

New Zealand teams are dominating the competition, winning 16 of 18 matches on home soil this year, including all seven against Australian sides.

The Waratahs clash with the Crusaders at 7.35pm Friday.
