American swimming sensation and the most decorated Olympian of all time, Michael Phelps has won a record 19th Olympic gold medal by helping the United States men's 4x100m win the freestyle relay title in Rio in the last hour.
Overall Phelps has won 23 medals at five Olympic games, as he came out of retirement in 2014 after retiring in 2012.
Other events that Phelps will take part in are Men's 200m butterfly, Men's 200m individual medley and Men's 100m butterfly.
Meanwhile, Fiji swimmers Matelita Buadromo will take part in Women’s 200m freestyle heat 1 tomorrow morning at 4.02 while Meli Malani will compete in the Men’s 50m freestyle heat 5 at 4.10am on Friday.
