Health Ministry officials are urging the general public not to panic and not to rush to the nearest pharmacy to get Tamiflu if they have flu like symptoms, as it is known to be used for treatment for Influenza A H1N1.
In light of the two confirmed cases, deputy secretary for Public Health Dr Josaia Samuela said they are advising pharmacists not to sell Tamiflu over the counter.
Samuela is urging people to heed precautionary measures to stop the spread of H1N1.
The two confirmed cases of H1N1 are being monitored and are reported to be responding well to treatment while tests conducted on their family members have returned negative.
