Expect a standing ovation tonight from the fans when Petero Civoniceva enters the field for his 300th NRL game against the Rabbitohs at 9:35.

Civoniceva is the most capped Test and Origin prop in Australian Rugby League history.

The 36-year-old will formally be inducted into the ‘300 Club’ at the Carbine Club lunch during the Telstra Premiership grand final week, one of a host of celebrations that will honor his achievement.

As part of the formal induction ceremony, Civoniceva will be presented with a specially designed ‘300 Club’ gold ring.

The tributes will start tonight with a video and post-match presentation of the game ball among the Broncos’ game day activities to honour the occasion.

Some players that are in the ‘300 Club’ are Darren Lockyer, Terry Lamb, Steve Menzies, Brad Fittler, Ruben Wiki, Brett Kimmorley and Nathan Hindmarsh.
