Following Australia’s 42-0 win over Papua New Guinea, Prop Petero Civoniceva said he would like to work with the Fiji team after retiring.

Civoniceva is currently playing for Australian Club Penrith Panthers after signing a two year contract with the club in 2008.

Speaking to Sydney Morning Herald, Civoniceva said the whole tournament had a cultural aspect and is now thinking of working with the Fiji Bati side.

34 year old Civoniceva and fellow Fijian Lote Tuqiri added man power to the Australian side.

Meanwhile, Papua New Guinea Coach Stanley Gene said the Kumuls showed a lot of improvement.

The Kangaroos who have been battered by some bruising Papua New Guinea defense, will face England at Melbourne’s AAMI Stadium this Sunday.
