Samoan speedster Mikaele Pesamino may be missing from the International arena lately, but he believes that he still has what it takes to don the Samoan 7s jumper.
Pesamoni is known all over the 7s world for his blistering speed and will be playing for the Samoan Invitational side which is grouped in the Vonu pool alongside Island breeze, FWCC Red Rock and hosts Jim Beam Uprising.
Pesamino said he will use this weekend’s Uprising International 7s to gauge his performance and prove himself to the selectors.
Pesamino added that though they have a young side he is confident they can deliver this weekend.
The Uprising Fiji International 7s men’s competition kicks off at 10am tomorrow at the TFL National Stadium between the Digicel Fiji Barbarians and Marist.
