342 building permits, with a value of $39.7 million, were issued for the 3rd Quarter of 2007.
The Bureau of Statistics has revealed that this is 21 less than was issued for the previous quarter however there is an increase of 70.7 per cent in the value.
However, of the total value of Building Permits issued 22.6 per cent were issued for Private Dwellings and 26.3% were issued for Additions to Private Dwellings.
Building permits issued for the Central Division tops the list at 188 with a value of $32.2 million, for the Western Division 140 were issued with a value of $6.8 million and 14, were issued in the Northern and Eastern Divisions with a value of $0.7 million.
