The standing committee of the Methodist Church will seek a permit from the government to stage the singing competition and "soli" in the various divisions.
Methodist Church assistant secretary Reverend Tevita Nawadra has clarified to Fijivillage that they will meet sometime this week to decide on how the various divisions will raise funds after the church conference has been called off.
Nawadra added that the standing committee will also discuss the outcome of the visit to Lomanikoro, Rewa, last Saturday, and also to inform the division heads to confirm to their congregation that the conference meeting will not go ahead.
Former church president Reverend Laisiasa Ratabacaca will chair the standing committee meeting to be held later this week.
