The permit for the Standing Committee meeting of the Methodist Church has been given the go ahead which is scheduled for next month in Suva.
Acting general secretary of the church Reverend Tevita Nawadra said high on the agenda is the appointments of the church ministers to their different circuits.
Nawadra also stressed the importance of how their church soli will be utilized for various church activities.
He added the soli from the various churches are still pouring in, although he cannot disclose the correct amount which has been collected so far.
However, the church has a target of $250,000 for this year's soli.
