The Land Transport Authority has confirmed today that the driver that lost his life in a tragic accident in Savutalele, Tacirua on Monday afternoon breached the conditions of his mini bus permit.
LTA's Media Liaison Officer, Eroni Volavola said the permit was for the Suva-Nausori main road service and not for the Princess road.
However, Volovola could not confirm if the breach of permit will anyhow restrict the family members of the driver and the other three deceased to claim for compensation.
Meanwhile, a woman who was a passenger in the Mini bus is still admitted in critical condition at the CWM Hospital. The four died at the scene of the accident after a PWD truck collided head on with the mini bus.
