The Permanent Secretary for Industry, Tourism, Trade and Communication Banuve Kaumaitotoya has been demoted by the Public Service Commission (PSC) following a review of her performance.
Permanent Secretary for Public Service Taina Tagicakibau confirmed to Fijivillage that the decision is based solely on her performance review.
Tagicakibau said the performance of all permanent secretaries, including her, is being closely monitored by the PSC commissioners.
Banuve Kaumaitotoya could not be reached for a comment.
