Permanent Secretaries are duty bound to the ministry they serve and not just to one department.
This is the view of Interim Minister for Public Service Poseci Bune speaking at the Permanent Secretaries Workshop in Nasese yesterday.
Addressing the permanent secretaries, Bune said that as this is maybe his last time he will address them, he stresses that they should always be truthful to their job.
Bune also said that permanent secretaries should not overlook their duties if not then a bad picture will be painted on the Ministry.
