Dubai Sevens champions Samoa has welcome back try scoring machine Paul Perez for the Hong Kong and Japan 7s tournaments.

Perez was injured during the Dubai Cup final last year and his speed will add to the physicality of the Samoans.

Other experience players in the side include captain Afa Aiono, Lolo Lui, Alatasi Tupou and Rupena Levasa.

For Alatasi Tupou and Lolo Lui they are hoping to repeat their victory in happy valley after last winning the Hong Kong 7s in 2010 beating rivals NZ in the final.

Samoa is third in the Series standings with 71 points and will take on New Zealand Sevens champions England, Portugal and Scotland in pool play.

Meanwhile, the Hong Kong 7s starts next Friday with Fiji taking on Hong Kong at 9.06pm.

On Saturday Fiji will meet Spain at 2.06pm and their last pool match is against Canada at 10.54pm.
