Perenara and Weepu will face each other when the Blues play the Hurricanes tomorrow.
It is likely the two halfbacks will be sharing the number 9 jersey next season.
The Hurricanes will take on the Blues at 7:35pm tomorrow before the Rebels and Bulls match at 9:40pm.
