People's lifestyle is leading to many diseases which were found last week during the Health Ministry's Outreach program in Kadavu.
The Health Media Liaison Officer, Iliesa Tora said the medical team spent three days in Kadavu although it wanted to spend more time there to treat all the people who visited the team.
He said many people were treated for high blood pressure and diabetes and some had to undergo minor surgeries for other sicknesses. Tora said they are planning to organise another trip to Kadavu in the future as the team now is preparing to visit Vunidawa from next week.
The Health Team will spend two days in Vunidawa from Monday.
