The People's Charter will not stop coups and it will not stop racism.
These are the words of Youth Activist Peter Waqavonovono who said the People's Charter won't change much but to increase the militarization of the state and fast track the devolution of traditional structures.
Waqavonovono said its time Fiji explores the options within the Constitution that prescribes the solutions to our current problems and that is to recall parliament and establish a non-militarized interim government with members of parliament whose focus is to take this country forward.
The youth activist said the answer to Fiji's problems is to take constitutional steps to attaining better economic and social standards.
