The Works and Public Utilities Ministry is calling on people to store water in light of Tropical Cyclone Mick.
Spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete said water can be affected when power lines are down.
Waqainabete said the Roads Department are also monitoring the roads closely and advise motorists to take precaution.
