We need to engage our religious organisations in the fight against HIV Aids as they serve an important role in our society.
While presenting the report of the Commission on AIDS in the Pacific last night, Chairman of the Commission and Deputy Prime Minister of Samoa, Misa Telefoni stressed that Church's in the Pacific can play a major role in spreading the word on the issues relating to HIV Aids.
President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau while receiving the report for Fiji, highlighted that people tend to ignore on the seriousness of the disease which is taking the lives of millions of people around the world.
Ratu Epeli has urged people to speak more openly on matters in relation to HIV Aids.
