The Immigration Department has changed some of its policies to provide efficient services to the people.
Director Immigration, Nemani Vuniwaqa said they have put measures in place which will see people getting their passport done in seven working days now.
He added that before people had to wait for ten working days to get their passport but now the change in policy will see people getting their passports quickly.
According to Vuniwaqa, the backlog of passport applications which forced them to open in the weekends has been cleared and they are now open only five days a week.
